Cupping + Load = Mobility Gains for Fighters

Fighting your ass off for three hours a day can lead to some stiffness from all of the striking and associated recoiling of the punches. The repetitive trauma of throwing hands can lead to mobility deficits throughout the entire upper body starting from the spine all the way to the hand.

My awesome Miami area boxing coach Will of BOXR studios needed a way to loosen up his back on a more grandiose level. Enter: cups and kettlebells. Combination of these two elements provide soft tissue pinning and an anchor point in which the tissues between can really stretch out.

The additional of the kettlebells and intention to round his back cut directly against the grain of his perceived tightness in his mid and lower thoracic spine. The immediate effect was substantial. Active typically trumps passive when talking about flexibility and mobility.

After you are done watching our awesome video with Coach Will, feel free to message or call us at 305-902-6644 if you are interested in receiving some extra attention for your soft tissue mobility deficits. We would love to work with you! Will definitely does.
